My name is Hasti and as a student nurse working closely with patients, I identified a knowledge gap in managing medications during the transition from inpatient to outpatient care. Patients often faced challenges with medication instructions due to limited resources or overwhelming medical jargon. This led to adverse health outcomes due to unclear adherence.
And I’m Parshan, a student majoring in physiology. The inspiration for this website occurred when I witnessed my own family members struggling to comprehend their medication instructions. Watching them navigate through confusion and uncertainty motivated me to simplify medication instructions, promoting self-management of prescribed medications.
At Med Search Pro, our aim is to ensure that medication information is comprehensible for patients of all backgrounds. Our simple medication search website provides patients with the tool to manage their own health by improving knowledge of medications and promoting health literacy. In response, we designed a user-friendly medication search website, featuring 30+ common medications, to provide accessible and essential health information, bridging this gap.
