  • Considerations
    • Take missed doses as soon as remembered, unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double dose.
    • Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while on Ramipril.
    • If you experience swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, seek immediate medical attention as it may indicate a serious allergic reaction.
    • Do not abruptly stop taking Ramipril without consulting your doctor, as it may cause a sudden increase in blood pressure.
    • Ramipril is generally not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, so discuss with your doctor if you are planning pregnancy or are already pregnant.
    • Try to avoid salt substitutes containing potassium or food with high potassium
